This modern and innovative treatment is a device-based method for tissue tightening using high-frequency radio waves. Heat is delivered in a controlled manner into the fat and subcutaneous tissue via a cannula fitted with electrodes. This either liquefies fat cells, which can be suctioned off via the cannula in one step, or heats tissue structures, which achieves a direct tightening of the skin and subcutaneous tissue.
Integrated temperature probes make the degree of tissue warming measurable so that no damage from overheating occurs. The active electrode switches off automatically when the specified target temperature is reached. The procedure also promotes the formation of new collagen in the connective tissue and thus further tightening of the skin.
Part of the smoothing and tightening effect on the skin appears immediately after the treatment. Although this effect recedes slightly after a few days, after about three to four weeks the formation of new collagen and elastic connective tissue fibres begins, which continuously leads to the desired tightening effect over a period of several months.
